Wow Joan! As always, your mastery of the medium and your unique point of view that you capture is truly awe inspiring! I am so proud to know you!
Wow Joan!
Incredible work! As always, your mastery of the medium and your unique point of view is truly awe inspiring. I am fighting back the tears as I am writing this I was so moved. I am proud to say, “I know this wonderful artist.”
Love, love, love your Musical Ride series! The video was a great joy to watch how you work. Thank you so much for sharing!
Looking forward to seeing the upcoming exhibition in Coombs!
Joan, the series is wonderful. Hope I’ll be able to see it one day.
Thanks for sharing your lovely artwork…a beautiful website and you are a very talented Artist…love the Sable Island art, photos too! What a thrill that would have been! All the very best!
Joan,
I saw the News Clip on Chek 6 last night of your Musical Ride artwork – congratulations…you did a beautiful collection of Canadianna at its best…I love the R.C.M.P. Musical Ride…they are Canadian Ambassadors wherever they go!
I do hope you come to the Comox Valley with your exhibit…I will attend…for sure! and good luck getting Corporate Sponsorship…or perhaps some help via the Govt…Wouldn’t it be exciting to tour along side of the Ride across Canada and be in the town Galleries for about a week or so ahead…?? Good luck…I am an artist and did an oil painting of four horses in a group (bridled)…they remind me now of the actual four horses I have been blessed to own over the past 30 some odd years…just sold the last one here in the Comox Valley – a gorgeous National Show Horse I raised as an orphan colt!
My late Dad was in the R.C.M.P. Marine Division. Saw them perform in Comox Valley a year ago this past summer….and took part in the ‘get connected meet and greet’ after with my two week old grand-daughter and daughter…the horse nuzzled the baby ever so gently on the corner of her little blanket! It was a Kodak moment I was able to capture…
